We have 109 days until the convention, and we are working very hard to get everything in order for the event on 9th September 2018 at The Printworks, Manchester. A full schedule of times, information and such will be sent out to all ticket holders in the next few months. We will email all ticket holders to the email address provided when you purchased tickets.
As new E.U rules on data privacy come into effect this week we need to ensure we meet these regulations which means collecting a new database where customers (you) OPT IN for newsletters and marketing emails from us. So tomorrow evening we will email all ticket holders and people who have subscribed to our database asking you to sign up to a new database.
This is the only way we can legally contact you with important news and information. Please keep an eye out for the newsletter tomorrow, and if you have not received it by midnight tomorrow (00:00 23 May 2018) please check your junk folder.
Failure to sign-up to the new database will mean you will miss out on information about the event and upcoming attractions. You can sign up now on the home page of our website, be sure to click ‘OPT IN’ or we cannot contact you!
Have you ever wanted to write your own episode of Doctor Who? To write dialogue for the Sixth Doctor? To get under the mask of Omega? Well this is your chance....
Vworp are pleased to offer a highly exciting opportunity for all of you writers out there.
We’d like you to cook up a 15-20 minute episode using only the contents of the 2nd event poster (above) as your ingredients. You can use one, some or all of the characters and location. The winner will have their work performed by Doctor Who cast in a live read-through at a dedicated #vworpcon panel.
The competition is only open to ticket holders.
There are some rules however :-
Final date for all submissions is 11.59pm on 15th June 2018. No submissions will be accepted after this time.
Submissions should be emailed to :-
So let your creative juices flow. We know just how talented you all are out there and we look forward to reading the submissions.
